The Holiday Season

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We started off our morning with a movie with my side of the family going to see "Arthur's Christmas" which was quite funny! Next we headed out to spend the afternoon with Taner's family. We ate turkey there and had some fun family photos taken thanks to Eric!

Watched some football then headed over to my families for some more turkey :)
After we were done eating we headed back to Taner's families to go join them for our annual trip to the Outlet Malls for black friday at midnight. This year we didn't last very long. We were home in bed by 2:30am...must be getting older! Anyways we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I can't believe it is December already!

This week we have finals....well not really, our classes this year aren't like usual so we either have essays, journals, or just final projects to turn in. THANK GOODNESS!! We are most definitely ready for a break. The last long break that we had was LAST December. So for a fun adventure we are going to VIVA LAS VEGAS...I am pretty sure the last "fun" trip that we took together was California, or maybe our honeymoon...anyways it has been long overdue.

You may hear from us soon, then again maybe not since I am pretty bad at updating...until then hope that everyone enjoys the holiday season.

The strength through trials..

Taner and I have definitely been tested in many ways. Through our faith, obedience, and dedication I feel as though we can achieve anything. With many prayers being said and answered, I still feel as though we have been blessed. On September 21st we found out that we were pregnant. There were so many emotions that raced through my mind when I first saw the results. I will never forget Taner's face when I woke him up that morning and told him. The whole rest of the week we started planning how we were going to tell our families. We had a family BBQ with my family and Taner's family. Our plan was to take a picture of everyone and then for one of the last pictures say "Megan is Pregnant" and get their reactions with a photograph. The next weeks were so much fun reading books and learning more about what to expect! We felt as though our world was finally turning around and that with Tucker's passing this was something we could look forward too. Our Heavenly Father had a different plan, and sadly we lost our baby on October 5th. This was probably one of the hardest things I have ever faced. Even though the next weeks after facing this trial were hard, I know there is a purpose for everything. Larry Richard said in a talk "I’ve learned that the way I respond to trials can have a great effect on whether they become roadblocks in my life or expressways to learning and growth. When I anguish over difficulties, the experiences only serve to weigh me down. But remembering that these trials are part of the great plan of happiness helps me to see them as opportunities to grow and learn."
Even though we can face many trials throughout our time here on earth, it will only make us stronger in our eternity with our families. The best part about being apart of our church is that we can be together again someday. We lost our baby, but we gained an angel in heaven to be with Tucker and Grandma Johnson.

Last half of Summer..

Throughout the end of the summer both Taner and I were extremely busy. Not only were we in full swing with our summer quarter finals, but also trying to find time to work and spend time with one another. As we kept on going from here to there and everywhere we were put at a halt. Our sweet, smiling brother passed away on August 28th. With a dear family, he was living it up like usual spending time having fun at Silverwood, driving the boat, hitting a few golf balls, camping, and playing around with kids. Even though Tucker was only 17 years old, he touched so many lives. Throughout the week after his passing we had to stop our lives and reflect back on the love that we had for Tucker, but also the love he had for others. It still seems unreal and with the holidays coming, we are thinking more and more of his sweet spirit. Even though this trial was extremely hard on not only Taner, but the rest of my in-laws we have all become closer as a family and as husband and wife. The thing that is so astonishing is the many people who came to bring us food, flowers, condolences, and amount of people who attended Tucker's funeral. He is truly known for a great smile and unconditional love for others.

After a long week, we had to go back to our daily lives and get back into our daily routine. I was just starting my practicum and Taner was done with his classes until the end of September. With Taner working a lot and with me being in school all day long there wasn't too much of down time to think. Staying busy was good for us and being able to go to church each Sunday seemed to start/end off our week in a great way. If it wasn't for the gospel and the knowledge of knowing that we have eternal families I don't know how we would have been able to be so strong and move on. Dwelling on trials and not overcoming the hardships will make you unhappy and you won't be able to see the hindsight of the purpose of our trials. I am not saying you should get over a trial in a day or in a week, but with the right amount of prayer and scripture study you can come to find the brighter side of learning from our hardships. Our gospel is a safe haven that can be a great resource to learn more about our Heavenly Father and the plan He has for all of us. I am grateful to be a member of the church and also to have the opportunity to attend the Temple and learn new things every time I enter. Until We Meet Again...

Mariners Game, Dinner at Dukes and a New Hair Cut

WOW! Two days in a row! haha...Well just wanted to post about last weekend. There are three different emails that I have to check daily. One is my hotmail account which is usually full of spam, junk, and other unneeded emails. My gmail is used just for contact with people from school and church. Finally is my school email. This email is a pain in the butt to get into and not user-friendly. Anyways a couple of weeks ago there was a email I received from my school email account about taking a survey. Usually I just delete anything that isn't from my instructors, but this time I opened up this certain email. In the email it said "Free Mariners Tickets" and all I thought was "what a scam." But then I read further...if you take a survey on how they can use money towards our center at our school then you can be entered for a chance to win Mariners Tickets. In my mind I was thinking, "I bet no one is going to fill out this survey." My guess was right, or maybe I am lucky?! I won two tickets!! Here are a few pictures from our time at the game..

On Tuesday, Taner had a coupon he had to use before it expired! It was a free meal from Duke's Chowder House, so we had a night out! The food was sooo yummy! We had fish and chips that were delicious! Also, I got a cup of chowder that was AMAZING!

I wasn't even going to be home with Taner because I had a late hair appointment. Luckily someone canceled their appointment for the 1:45pm time at the salon. So instead of going at 8:15pm I was able to get in at 1:45pm! Going into the appt I wasn't sure what I wanted...so here is a picture of the result

This weekend we both have work and lots of homework to do...like usual. We are both finding we need a trip VERY soon! Maybe Kauai? Big Island? Maybe I will just start packing my bags now to have Taner get the hint :) Until he figures it out, we will be here for a while...

It is official...I am probably the worst blogger ever! So I have decided that if you do read my blog, then lucky you for today!! These random days for me just deciding to sit down and write a new post will hopefully make your a little brighter. Not only am I a slacker, but also a procrastinator. Plus, every time I think about "Maybe I should write a new post today" I end up getting sucked into facebook and spend WAY too much time on there! I hope that I can at least post every three months instead of every six months. HAHA, we will see about that!

Anyways, enough about that, now onto the GOOD STUFF! Life is really busy right now and I am pretty sure I am seeing Taner less and less as the year goes on. Here is a little recap of what our life has been like since February...

February
As you can see from my previous post, I has a shout out to my little brother for his birthday. Well the next day was my 22nd birthday. Everyone says that I am so young, and there are times I feel as though I am. BUT, these years are going fast. I feel as though it was just yesterday sitting in class at KR thinking my senior year wouldn't come fast enough. I could not wait to get the HECK outta there! Now, as I look back I wish I was still there. High School work was sooo much easier then college work. On the other hand, I DO NOT miss the drama that is incorporated with HS. The older I get, the less significant birthdays become. When I look through my pictures, I am pretty sure I took NONE in February...so on to March

March

This month went by really fast! We both had finals, and then we got a week off for our break. Luckily we both have the same breaks or else it would really suck! This month we decided to go on a trip to California. Our plan was to fly into LAX and then make our way to Six Flags. As it turns out, it was POURING!! I have never seen it rain so bad! On the freeway, it was pretty scary to be on the road with LA drivers..anyways we ended up not going to Six Flags which was a bummer. So we ended up traveling down towards San Diego where we would be staying.

April
School started back up again once we got back from our trip. Between March-May I would be going to school and helping coaching. This year I had to be an Volunteer coach this year because I class late, which killed me. Taner was working a lot, but we both had the opportunity to play on an adult softball league on Friday nights. We had a lot of fun, and it was nice to do an activity together that we both enjoy. We had a great Easter, and this month really flew by! This is the only picture to document April for us haha..

May
Well our weather has really sucked lately. This month was spent with lots and lots of make up games. My girls for fastpitch had to pretty much make up all the games in two weeks. Games everyday and even a double header. Probably the worst weather I have seen for spring sports in a long time. Anyways, our adult softball league had some rain outs too! Between softball, work, and school we had a busy month! We got to enjoy the last part of the month spending time with Taner's family. We drove all night heading to Victor, ID. Our niece was born in April, and this was our first time meeting her!! And we LOVE HER!! Here are a few pictures to document our trip!

June
It seems as though the months are flying by fast! This month we both had finals and had a week off before we started Summer Quarter. My parents celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary and I pulled off throwing a surprise party for them! Looking back at my pictures, I hardly took any!! Which I am still kicking myself about cause it turned out wonderful and looked beautiful inside the tent! Well, the next week was Taner and I's anniversary.. TWO YEARS!! I can not believe it! Seems like just yesterday we were holding hands across the alter. We have enjoyed so many good memories and it has been so fun exploring and finding new things about one another on our journey. There are so many more things in store for us, and can't wait to see what the future brings! Here is June pictures..

July
Here we are..FINALLY getting closer to be more up-to-date! Summer quarter is in full swing, and it sucks. I have never done summer quarter before, and let me just say...I am glad I only have to do it once! Thank goodness. Taner is doing so well in all of his classes and will be graduating from Green River in the Spring with TWO degrees! A general AA and his Pre-Nursing AA degrees. I am SOOO proud of him. He is such a hard worker in everything that he does and conquers A LOT! With him working a lot and us not seeing a whole lot of one another it has been a tough year. It is crazy to think that we use to see each other ten times more when we were dating compared to now. Now, we are lucky to spend a couple of hours together a day! We are still young and school is getting closer to being done for us...well one of us. haha. That is right, I am GRADUATING next spring as well!! Less than a year and I will be a TEACHER! I can't believe it! During spring quarter I found out I was being placed at Kent Elementary in Kindergarten for my Pre-Autumn and Practicum! Can't wait! A little nervous, but still glad I have the opportunity to be in the classroom. Anyways, we had a terrific 4th! No school and no work, so we decided to climb Rattlesnake Ridge. I had never done this before...and it kicked my butt. So I have found I am pretty out of shape! To be back in high school again when it didn't really matter what you ate and playing lots of sports. Getting old sucks! haha. This has been our July so far...

Well this has been our life for the last 5 months...sorry for such a long post! :)

Jared Manning

I can not believe that 8 years ago today I was blessed with a wonderful brother!! He has really changed everything about our family. Being 14 years apart...well technically 13 years and 364 days, I never thought we would get along so well. I think it is the fact that some of the things he says or does just makes me smile. He is the CUTEST thing EVER! In fact, I think that is why he gets away with so much stuff because of that big grin and big brown eyes...who can say no, or be mad at him?! Plus he is the youngest, so I am sure that has something to do with it as well.

Thinking back, I remember those nights he would crawl into my bed in the middle of the night. He is JUST like my sister Carly...they are both the same in the way they sleep. One moment they are sound asleep in the NORMAL position, the next they are kicking, moving their arms(hitting you in the face), and then by morning their feet are by your face, and their head is down towards the end of the bed. Yes, this made for some unpleasant mornings as I was lying in bed the whole night hoping that I wouldn't get smacked in the face! But I wouldn't change any of it! I love my siblings, and though sometimes they can both drive me nuts, I am proud to say that they are my brother and sister.

I feel as though I am the luckiest being the oldest because I am able to see not only one sibling grow up, but two. When people find out how much of an age gap there is between the three of us, they always ask if the last one was an "oops?!" He was most DEFINITELY NOT an "oops"!! There is always a reason for everything, and I feel as though if Jared wasn't around I wouldn't be the person I am today without him. So with that I just want to say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED! I love you, and I hope you never change!

How time flies...

I can not believe it is already the new year! Well since November... We have been really BUSY!! December came and it went FAST! In the beginning of December we both had Finals and then grades came in. We both did really great! With it being my first quarter back a school, it felt great to end with some good grades! With almost a month off, it gave me a lot of time to clean, reflect, and spend some quality time with family. After finals, I was finally able to finish decorating my apartment with Christmas stuff, and also reorganize some things around the apartment. While throwing out old papers, getting rid of old clothes, and rearranging some stuff I came across some old photos. I found old baby pictures of me, and also some of Taner (they were the pics we used for our wedding slide show). It is so much fun to see old photos and remember the good times.

So cute :) I love finding photos like these!

Anyways, since I had about a month off of school and didn't work too much during my break, I had a lot of time to spend to myself. I realized how blessed I am to have such a great husband that works so hard everyday. Taner got a job at Costco back in July and they had lay offs on Christmas Eve. We were a little worried that he would be laid off because not only were they laying off seasonal workers, but as some part-time employees. He found out the employees that started in August were the one's laid off..Taner started working for Costco on July 27th!! That was a HUGE relief...with me back at school, I haven't been working as much as I was last year, so we felt very blessed to find out that he got to keep his job.

Now it is the new year already! For our New Years (we are SUPER LAME), but we worked all day on New Years Eve...then we went to a wedding reception and then ended up going home staying up till about 12:10 and fell asleep. We barely made it to midnight! Getting older? Yeah I think so, and we don't even have kids yet! Anyways since the New Year, we are both back at school. This quarter I think will be one of the hardest ones. Taner has school from 10am -250, then goes straight to work after wards for pretty much the whole week. Then for me, I have class from 11am -350pm on Monday and Tuesday, then wed and Thursday I have class from 1-450pm...We will see how it goes, but so far it has been hard on us not seeing each other! But, it has made the days we do get to spend with each other that much more special!

Well we hope that everyone had a WONDERFUL New Years, and we are excited to see what is in store for us this year! :)

Counting my blessings...

How wonderful it is to know that I have an eternal family....I am so grateful for my family. So far this week as been a week of testing my patience, faith, and motivation. Monday morning I found out that my grandpa was in the hospital. I hate Mondays anyways, and this is not the greatest start of the week. This is prime time for projects, tests, and lots of school work that is being piled on high, and seems to be never ending! With that being said my grandpa has just gone through surgery. Everything went well, but still just waiting to find out what they could find... I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and has a reason for everything. At times it is hard to understand why exactly he would want us to feel pain, and to feel like we have done everything right, but some how get punished. We aren't being punished though. I know that everything happens for a reason, and he wants our faith to be built stronger so that we can feel closer to him. Sitting and waiting for the anticipation of hearing the news after surgery is probably the hardest. I am so thankful to have such a big family that will always be there for one another. Church today was so good. I felt the spirit so much, and my heart felt like it was going to explode with all the emotions that were going through my head. As I sat there listening to all of the testimonies being shared, two of them really stood out to me. One was about the trials that we face in our lives and how we can all become better people with these hardships. The other one really hit me hard and made me break down into tears. She was an older lady and she started talking about the blessings of marriage and temples. She wanted to let all the younger people know the importance of going to the temple and being married in the temple. You might think that getting married anywhere else is fine, but the satisfaction of being able to walk through those temple doors, put on our white dresses, and feel the presence of the Holy Ghost is a remarkable feeling. Just the fact that when we are married we are sealed to our spouse for time and all eternity is amazing to me. We don't have to worry about never seeing them again...we all know that because our Heavenly Father loves us we can be not only with him, but also our loved ones. I am so thankful for my Grandpa and the good example he has set not only for me, but for my whole family. The power of the Priesthood is an extraordinary thing, and can be such a blessing. For me, I know that I am so glad I have found someone to spend eternity with, and to have such great families born in, and also married to. I love Taner's family very much and I can not wait to meet his mom someday. Both of my families are such a blessing to me and I just wanted to share my testimony. I am so glad I was put into the family I have today, and have found my eternal companion.

Has it really been 5 months?!

I think I am probably one of the worst bloggers in the world...The whole point of a blog is to show people what we have been up to...Well if you were to read our blog you would find out in about 5 minutes that we only have about 6 posts to summarize our life together...PATHETIC!! Yeah I know. Anyways I am going to TRY and see if I can at least do one post once a month...that shouldn't be too hard right?! HAHA!

Well, I have done the multiple month check-up in the past with ONE REALLY long post, but this time I am not doing that! We are just going to start out fresh and new and see where that takes us! So here is to a good first MONTH!!

What a way to start off the new month with a new post! We are both in the middle of our quarters at school, and it is starting to hit us! We can not wait for a break!! I am doing my teaching program at highline cc for Central Washington University, and Taner is finishing up his last year at Green River CC for his Pre-Nursing Degree. It has been a crazy quarter so far, but we are working hard for something that we love. Next week I start teaching in the classroom with my group for teaching science. Our group is in charge of 4/5 graders and we are doing a lesson on the States of Matter...I thought I was done with science class, boy was I wrong! Anyways, there is a lot of preparation going on, and my other 4 classes are definitely keeping me busy.
Well, enough about me....
I have the world's best husband!! He is such a hard worker, and love when he gets a day off of work...even though he is usually spending it studying, it is nice to have him home. Along with a busy schedule of Biology and Anatomy, he is also working at his new job at Costco. We are so blessed that he was finally able to get a job. Back in March, he had quit at Lowes to work on school. Once summer hit, he realized he needed to find another job. He applied at a few places, but knew he really wanted a job at Costco. Well I don't know if it was him bugging them everyday, or his good looks, but he got the job!! Counting our blessings everyday, I know that Heavenly Father was looking out for us! Costco is such a good company to work for, and in only 3 months he will be able to get health benefits!! At work they call him the "the BEAST"....the reason is because of this...Taner works in the front of the store loading people's carts, but he also goes outside to push carts. Most workers push between 6-8 carts...well if you have ever been to Costco, you know how big those carts are...Taner's record is 32!!! Yup, bet you can't beat that!! That's my STUD MUFFIN!!! :)
Anyways, November is here, which means only a few weeks till Thanksgiving!! We are thankful that both of our families are so close that we can spend time with both!! Well, until next time!!

I'm a Slacker!!

Well Since March, a lot has happened!! First of all I finished up my two classes that I was taking. Plus, I started coaching my fastpitch team at Kentwood HS! So for the last few months I have been working as a coach, landscaping and also still working at the golf course.

With going on with our crazy lives, we were struck with the news that my Great Grandma had past away....I have only know two of my Great Grandma's, one died when I was around 3. I feel so grateful for having my other Great Grandma in my life for so long. It was so sad to hear the news, but very comforting to know that we will see her again someday and that she is now with her sweetheart who had left us about 3 years ago. The funeral was on April Fools day...and yes it definitely was a crazy day!! It snowed so much!!

Then Easter was here! Our first Married Easter!! As you can see, we had a lot of fun!! Then April FLEW BY!!! So crazy!! Now it turned to MAY....Well all through April we had been looking for a good deal on an apartment so that we could have a place of our own and start earning credit towards buying a house in the next few years! Well we FINALLY moved after a long process!! But it finally happened! April 12th-May 15th I saw VERY little of my husband!! Taner signed up for a CNA class to prepare him to get a certificate in nursing. Class was everyday except Thursdays and Sundays....so he went to GR from 8-2pm, then worked till 4pm then headed to class in Tacoma from 5-9pm. This is what he did in his class though...

Well now its almost the end of the month, and pretty soon it will be June...which means our ONE YEAR IS COMING UP!! We are definitely enjoying our Journey of being the Johnsons'!

My New Passion...and Potential side career?

My plan is to practice more and more with the camera, and eventually get one of my own!! I can not wait to take more pictures when it gets nice and sunny outside!!

First Married Valentine's Day

What a great Holiday! Especially when it is the first Married Valentine's Day!! I am so grateful to have Taner in my life! We both had to work on Saturday, and we really wanted to go to the temple that night, but I didn't get home till 7, and Taner didn't get home till 8 unfortunately :( Other than that, we had a great time celebrating Valentine's Day the night before. I got home from work to find this all over the floor and bed...

My Husband is so good to me!! I am kicking myself in the butt for not taking a picture of what I did for him though!! I found this cute idea of getting a dozen donuts, then you get some wooden skewers and put them through the donuts. Then you get a vase, fill it with his favorite candy...which is SNICKERS, then put the donuts in the vase, and there is own bouquet of "flowers." It looked really cute, and I am still ticked that I didn't take a picture...lately I have just been really bad at taking pictures!!

After we got ready, we were off to the RAM! It was so good!!

Busy Busy Busy

With Taner going to school from 8am to 11am, going to work at Lowes from 1pm to 5pm some nights, then 1 to 10pm other nights, and finally him taking a Nursing Night Class from 6-9pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and then 5-9pm on Fridays...we see very little of each other. Every chance we get spend with each other is so important!! We know that this won't last forever, but for now its just a pain in the butt. For me, I am working 3 jobs. I work at the Golf Course on Mondays, Fridays, and every other Saturday. Then Tuesday I landscape and later that night have class from 4-6pm. Wednesdays are usually my day to rest, but also to clean, do laundry, go grocery shopping, and anything else that needs to be done. Thursdays I spend my day going to Kentwood High School and observing a classroom for both of the classes that I am taking. Then either Wednesdays or Saturdays I am scorekeeping for Green River's Basketball teams. We live a busy life, but I wouldn't change it!!

Really...that is what our January looked like, Oh we did get a new car though! A RED Toyota Corolla! I can't believe we are already in February!!

Since it is February, that means that we Celebrate my little brothers birthday of turning 7, my birthday of turning the old age of 21, and Valentines Day!

New name for our blog...

It has just come to me that I think the name of our blog is pretty boring...so I have decided that the next few days I will be trying to think of a new name for our blog! If you have any suggestions, please COMMENT and give any ideas you might have!!

Disney On Ice

So my family was nice enough to invite Taner and I to go to Disney On Ice with them! We had such a blast!

The First on stage was CARS!!

then...it was Little Mermaid

followed by LION KING

The show was going awesome, and had so many cool effects...after Lion King they had a short intermission. Once the intermission was over, every one was back in their seats ready for more! WHAT A KILL! I lost 20 minutes of my life watching stupid Tinkerbell and the stupid fairies...it would have been fine to have her on for 5 minutes....but the whole plot of the story and how long it lasted was such a SNOOZER!!! It would have been better if CARS came back on with Lightening McQueen!! Other than that, it was really fun! lol! :)

Must be a guy thing? lol!

Well that was last weekend, so I am already getting better at this posting thing, now i just need to add some music and figure out how to put more cool stuff on my blog!

Wow...Where has the time gone?!!

Apparently it has been a while since the last time I blogged! Well since the last post this is what you have missed!!

As you already know, Taner and I were engaged on January 7th, 2009. The months after that day I thought were going to be very slow, but they flew!

In February, I turned 20 years old and Taner celebrated Valentine's Day with me, which was wonderful! At this point I was taking some pretty hard classes and so was Taner. He began working at Lowes and worked nights, so we saw each other at school, then after that it was a toss up between me working at the golf course, and him working at Lowes.

March was a VERY busy month! It was time to finalize some wedding plans, studying for finals, Golf season was starting for the spring, got our engagement pictures done, then the next day I left with his family to go to Idaho Falls, Idaho to go meet family and have some what a spring vacation! By the time we got home Spring Quarter was starting!

April was full of me being gone every weekend for golf tournaments, and missing a lot of mondays because of these golf tournaments! The only weekend I was home, was for Easter. Every chance we had during the week we tried to spend together since I was gone for the weekends, but this was hard with our school and work schedules!

Then came May...wow...only a month till the big day!! I was finishing up my final golf season and was done by May 18th. Can't believe my two years of playing golf for Green River is over! I had some of the best times, learned a lot from my experience, and gained some great friends!

JUNE!! The big month!! WHAT A CRAZY month!! To start off the month, I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, two of which were impacted! OUCH! lol! Anyways, I healed pretty well and was up and ready to go finish out the quarter at Green River!!

I graduated Green River on June 12th, then the next day I had a bridal shower.

In-laws came into town! Then my Maid of Honor and I went out to get our nails and feet done, went out to Red Robin with my side of the family, saw Taner real quick before he had to go home for the last night alone. What a sleepless night! Then it came and now it is gone! The Wedding day was fantastic, and everything went as planned! We both love our families very much and appreciate all the work everyone did to make this day happen!!

Well Taner surprised me with a limo ride to our hotel, spent two nights at the hotel, then he surprised me with going to the Space Needle. It was both our first time going to the top, we both have lived in Seattle all our lives, and have never been!

July came, and we left on our great HONEYMOON to Hawaii!! We had a lot of fun, but also I was able to meet some of the people that he served, taught, and met on his mission. I was told over and over and over again what a GREAT guy and such a HARD WORKER I have been blessed with, and I feel very fortunate to have found him :)

After the Honeymoon, it was back to reality! Getting moved into my Grandma's house, paying bills, making meals, and going back to work.

August was full of working, a Mariner's game, more work, and of course my families Ocean Trip Yearly Trip! We all had so much fun, and it was great having Taner to share it with! Plus we made a quick trip to Utah to meet more family, and just to get away!

September was still full of work, but also for me, I began coaching Fastpitch at Meeker Middle School as the 7th grade coach. It came with a lot of patience, and diligence but was so much fun and I loved working and teaching the girls on how to play and be better players. In between work and coaching, we painted our room and it turned out FABULOUS! Taner started school at the end of the month, so now he goes to school, comes home for lunch, we eat together, then I am off to coaching, then he is off to work, and we saw each other at 11:30pm, then it was bed time! Then REPEAT over and over again....its been different, but we love each other very much! Plus we celebrated our 1 year anniversary of going out, which was very romantic :)

OCTOBER...What a fun month! Well I finished up my season with my girls and Taner is still working and going to school. I meet up with my two good friends from golf Jenna and Brynne to have Starbucks and hang out. Jenna now lives in Virginia with here husband, and Brynne is going to UW. Taner and I carved pumpkins, had our ward Trunk or Trick, which our trunk won by far as we were told by many people!! It was so much fun to spend time with my husband on Halloween night, neither or us had work, so we made it a date night with dinner and a movie. We saw "Couples Retreat" which is hilarious! A must SEE!!

Well it is now November.....both of us still working, Taner at school, and having a blast being married. This adventure is just the beginning :)

First Blog!

Well I figured since Taner and I will finally be tying the knot in June that it was time for us to have our own Blog! Especially since we both have separate facebook and myspace accounts, this is something that we can do and share together! Plus this will keep everyone updated on our lives on being engaged! We are so happy and excited to start an amazing journey, and can not wait to be married in the temple for time and all eternity...hopefully he can handle me for that long! :)
